Khorat or Nakhon Ratchasima is a large province on the northeastern plateau as is like the gateway to other provinces. It is rich in Khmer culture and also has beautiful nature.

Attractions
Phimai Historical Park is in Phimai District. It has one of the grandest and most important Khmer historical sites in Thailand that is the Phimai Sanctuary or Prasat Hin Phimai in Thai. From stone inscriptions and the style of architecture, Phimai Sanctuary was most likely built at the end of the 16th Buddhist century. Some characteristics are similar to the Angkor Wat style (in Cambodia) which became popular at a later period.
Sai Ngam The place is so named because of the abundance of banyan tree, which is about 350 years now. The tree gave birth to many smaller ones covering the entire area.
