Buri Ram means “City of Peace” It is one of the largest and most populated province in Isan. Buri Ram boasts of having the most beautiful Khmer Stone Sanctuary since then this province is becoming a popular tourist destination.

Attractions
Phanom Rung Historical Park is a grand Khmer site over a thousand years old. Built on an extinct volcano. It was original a Hindu religious site but was later transformed into a Buddhist one.
Muang Tam Stone Sanctuary is another example of such a beautiful Khmer site to regard as the second beautiful only to that of Phanom Rung.
